“Undying” means “When this permanent is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, if it had no +1/+1 counters on it, return it to the battlefield under its owner’s control with a +1/+1 counter on it. I'm a little unsure of the timing, sacrifice is part of the cost so that happens and the creature goes to the graveyard, would Undying trigger before I target a creature for the ability to resolve or does the undying trigger happen after I pay but before I target a creature Any help is appreciated. 702.92a Undying is a triggered ability.It was returned in Avacyn Restored as a feeling that evil was not entirely gone.
